the locals 'expect' the sandy beach to be there 'maybe' next year (2007), so as for children it is best to bring along some shoes they can wear on the beach (of course you can buy them in A-G too). from end May till now temperatures where not too high; the wind has a rather chilly undertone and sometimes a T-shirt with (long) sleeves comes in handy ! few days ago there was some rain too. but still, these things don't spoil the fun !

There is little or no sand on the main beach in Galini, lots of stones. But it is so wonderful there. You can now buy sea/shoes on the beach side. It was very hot while we were there at the end of May/ Beginning of June. Your two year old will be baked. Enjoy your time, we certainly did.

Somewhere I though I read that they had put sand onto the beach, to make it less stoney. The reason I ask is that I have a 2 year old that loves to dig, and wondered if the beach would be suitable for her if we booked our holiday here. Any help would be appreciated.

As far as i know ,El Greco has closed and Tony has went back to farming,he will be missed.

Hello YaYa and other boarders and guests.The trash that writes sick messages in the board and new members with **** links in their profile can only be removed by hand.They are sick adults and you can't do anything about it.The board is open to every one to write and respond in it.But I check the board daily and remove all the trash before it gets infected :-(Take care..

Meaby i did something wrong now,can't open the forum , but when we looked at the forum just before we saw some "wrong mails" again. Can't you do anything about this "trash" it spoiles the fun of reading .
