In our tavern "ACROGIALI" on the beach we have entertained our guests since 1979 with traditional Greek Cuisine and international dishes. In a relaxed ambiance with friendly service and a beautiful view to the sea, you can enjoy the the Greek feeling of life.
Especially favoured and advised are our local Cretan lamb, chicken and suckling pig with potatoes out of the traditional clay- or stone-oven. Also you will be enthusiastic for our dishes with freshly caught fish out of the Lybian Sea, which we buy for you every morning from the fishermen at the harbour. By request we serve the fish with our delicate lemon dressing. We also offer suitable vegetable dishes and salads - not only for vegetarians!
Also your children are very welcome at our tavern. They especially enjoy our minced meat and noodle-dishes as well as our new childrens corner.
Our watersport bar offers the young and young at heart the possibility to enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean climate with a cool beer from the barrel or a glass of the famous Cretan wine. Watersport-facilities are available.
In our house "Giannis' Studios", which is situated only 300m from the beach and the local center, you can enjoy your breakfast on the balcony in the morning sun with a view to the sea. Our "Acropol Apartments" are situated 400m from the beach, in the local center. The studios, and apartments in both houses are equipped with kitchens. Our studios are opened all the year!
As guests of our Studios/Apartments you can use the sunbeds at the beach for free, and you will receive a discount of 10% off the prices of watersports and your dinner in our beach tavern!
For your transfer from the airport and back we gladly organize a transfer by taxi, if you desire.
